Frank Myers
Associate Social Worker

Frank Myers is an army veteran and is dedicated and compassionate about first responder and veteran behavioral health. Frank has been in the mental health profession for over ten years. He is experienced in providing evidenced based therapeutic services, eastern related practices, crisis intervention, and case management. He holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of New England and is certified as a Crisis Interventionist. 

Frank approaches treatment from a recovery-oriented, patient-centered care lens. Previously, Frank served as the Program Manager at San Diego Youth Services. At Youth Services he oversaw trauma recovery programs for youth, supervised staff, and collaborated with the community's first responders to ensure the success of the youth he was treating. His background includes roles in child welfare, protective services, and housing stabilization, including as a Protective Service Worker for Child Welfare Services and a Case Manager with Volunteers of America. Frank also provided evidenced based treatment modalities in intensive outpatient settings that were focused on individual and group psychotherapy sessions. Frank provided treatment for adults living with severe and persistent mental illnesses, often with co-occurring trauma histories, and taught their family members how to better care for them. 

Frank is passionate about advocacy, empowerment, and promoting equitable care for marginalized populations. With a strong foundation in evidenced based counseling, program development, and trauma-informed practices. He is committed to supporting first responders, veterans, and their families on their path to recovery and well-being.
