Frank Myers
Associate Social Worker

Frank Myers is married to the love of his life and a father of two
daughters that are successful professionals. Frank is an army veteran
and is dedicated and compassionate about first responder and
veteran behavioral health. Frank specializes in providing support to a broad spectrum of individuals, embracing the unique experiences and challenges of each client. He works with LGBTQ+ communities creating a safe and validating space. Frank also works with the elderly, offering empathy and understanding for challenges such as aging, loss, or feelings of isolation, while ensuring that their care respects the individual's dignity and life experiences.

Frank has been providing clinical care in the mental health profession
for over ten years. For clients with autism, Frank utilizes interventions to meet sensory, communication, and social needs, helping them navigate relationships, emotional regulation, and life transitions. His training and expertise extend to intellectual disabilities, where he uses creative and accessible methods to build trust and address challenges, fostering personal growth and independence. Overall, Frank is deeply empathetic, adaptable, and skilled in bridging diverse experiences, cultures, and needs. Frank integrates therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, or life skills training, depending on the individual. He holds a master’sdegree with honors in Social Work from the University of New England and is certified as a Crisis Interventionist. 

Frank approaches treatment from a recovery-oriented, solution
focused and patient-centered care lens. He is also the former Program
Manager at San Diego Youth Services. While serving as program
manager Frank oversaw trauma recovery programs for youth,
supervised staff members, and collaborated with the community's first
responders to ensure the success of the youth he was treating. While
completing his postgraduate hours at Bellator, Frank is directly
supervised by Ruben Gutierrez, LMFT.
