Dr. Betty C.

Hello, I am Dr. Betty C., a psychological assistant working under the supervision of Dr. Acre. I graduated with my Ph.D. in clinical psychology in 2023. I am currently completing my postdoctoral hours in two separate clinical settings. I have extensive experience working in hospital-based settings and healthcare-oriented settings and enjoy working with veterans, first responders, and healthcare workers. I also enjoy working with adults who may be experiencing depression/low mood, anxiety, insomnia or poor sleep, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and the LGBTQ+/Queer communities.

 

In addition to my doctoral degree, I have a master’s degree in social work and performed those duties for several years in clinical/medical settings. I also have advanced training and experience in brain-behavior relationships and assessment. Due to my experience in these areas, I also am available to provide clinical assessments for ADHD assessment, diagnosis, and determination.

 

As a clinician, my goal is to not only meet your treatment needs but also provide skills and techniques so that you can continue to live your best life even in the absence of treatment/therapy. I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve useful and dependable mental health skills.
